Patriots' offense rolling behind Drake Maye
Nj reports New England (3-2) enters the matchup coming off a 45-17 rout of the Las Vegas Raiders, a performance described as the team's best of the season. Yahoo! Drake Maye has been a focal point for New England during its recent run. New England (3-2) enters the game after consecutive victories, and the Patriots will look for Maye to handle a Jets front that has been disruptive, recording eight sacks against Cleveland last week.
Jets leaning on defense; questions in the backfield
Yahoo! News reports the Jets snapped a three-game slide last weekend, improving to 2-3 with a 17-12 victory over the Cleveland Browns. That win was powered by a defense that generated eight sacks, per Yahoo! News — a performance the Jets will need to replicate if they hope to contain Maye and the Patriots' passing attack.
Offensively, the Jets enter the game having improved to 2-3 after last week's 17-12 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
On the ground, the Jets will look to build on last week's win as they travel to Gillette Stadium for the divisional matchup.
The matchup is a Week 6 AFC East game at Gillette Stadium on Oct. 18. For New England, the goal is to build on recent wins; for New York, another divisional victory will likely hinge on the trenches and repeating the pass rush that produced eight sacks against Cleveland.
