Sun Devil Fits for the New York Giants

With the Giants facing a tough schedule and potential high draft positioning, punters might consider betting on the likelihood of them drafting key players like quarterback Sam Leavitt or center Ben Coleman, significantly impacting their overall performance next season.

The National Football League features teams in major cities, with the Giants in New York being one of the largest. While the upcoming season is crucial, the future, including the NFL draft, is also significant for the Giants.

Despite having a solid roster, the Giants face a tough schedule, leading to predictions of a high draft pick next year.

Offensive Players: Quarterback Sam Leavitt is a strong possibility for the Giants. While they drafted QB Jaxson Dart in Round 1, Leavitt remains an option. The idea of reuniting Leavitt with running back Cam Skattebo is appealing. A new General Manager and Head Coach could make the Giants more open to selecting Leavitt, especially since they won't be attached to Dart. Leavitt is a QB capable of making big plays, fitting well in the New York market.

Jordyn Tyson could be another option; however, the Giants already have a strong receiving core with star Malik Nabers and Wandale Robinson. Like the Tennessee Titans, the Giants have significant needs on the offensive line. While left tackle Andrew Thomas is a stud, the right tackle position needs improvement as Evan Neal didn't meet expectations. Josh Atkins could be a viable target. Center Ben Coleman is another potential choice, as the center position is crucial for New York. Coleman excels in pass-blocking, making him a franchise center candidate for the Giants.

Defensive Players: The Giants possess many talented defensive players, particularly on the defensive line, highlighted by First Round Pick Abdul Carter and elite defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence. Veteran edge rusher Brian Burns brings great speed and experience. While the Giants have a solid D-line and secondary, cornerback may be a semi-need due to their young resources.

Linebacker could be a target position for the Giants. Bobby Okereke, the current starter, is 29, and linebackers typically regress around 30. Jordan Crook could be a candidate for this role. Crook demonstrates the passion and intelligence to become an excellent leader for the Giants' defense and displays good physicality. Given the division's tough running backs like Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts, and Jayden Daniels, an athletic linebacker would be advantageous for New York.

In conclusion, though the Giants have a solid roster, they are likely to have high draft odds. Adding a few Sun Devils could transform the team into a playoff contender within a tough NFC.
