The complete schedule for the 2026-27 EuroLeague season has been released, providing fans with several blockbuster dates to mark on their calendars.
The new campaign will tip off on September 24 and feature 20 teams competing across 38 regular-season rounds. Among the highlights are major domestic rivalries, a rematch of last season’s championship game and Zeljko Obradovic’s emotional return to Belgrade.
Obradovic returns to Belgrade to face Partizan
One of the season’s most anticipated games will arrive as early as Round 5, when Obradovic returns to Belgrade as the head coach of Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens.
Panathinaikos will visit Partizan on Tuesday, October 13, marking Obradovic’s first game against his former club since leaving midway through the 2025-26 campaign.
The legendary Serbian coach resigned from Partizan following a difficult start to the season and weeks of tension surrounding the team. He later returned to Panathinaikos, where he previously won five EuroLeague titles during his historic 13-year tenure.
The meeting is expected to produce one of the most emotional atmospheres of the campaign, with Obradovic returning to the arena where he spent four years after rejoining his boyhood club in 2021.
Partizan and Panathinaikos will meet again in Athens in Round 34 on Thursday, March 25.
