Jack Ham in stable condition after medical emergency before Penn State game

Hall of Fame linebacker and Penn State radio analyst Jack Ham was in stable condition Saturday night after a medical emergency before the Nittany Lions’ game at Washington.

Ham, 77, was taken to the University of Washington Medical Center for treatment. Penn State coach Matt Campbell gave the update on his condition after the game.

Campbell praised Penn State play-by-play announcer Steve Jones for his efforts to help Ham. “If it’s not for Steve, what he did, I don’t know if we have as good a news as we do right now,” Campbell said.
